Unlike traditional mineral fluids, this silicone brake and clutch fluid is non-corrosive and non-hygroscopic. It is water repellent and will not absorb water, like a traditional brake fluid, which can lead to corrosion within the cylinders and pipe work. Silicone brake fluid can be used in both brake and clutch circuits but is not compatible with other brake fluids. This fluid can be used to replace existing mineral fluids but the system must be thoroughly cleaned first.
