This gaiter fits all cars built after the squarer late tunnel without the Mk1 starter housing was introduced (sometime in 1973). It is retained by a metal ring which is screwed into the transmission tunnel after first passing it through the cutaway in the carpet- very simple to fit.

Fits later Mk3, Mk4, Mk5, Mk6 and Mk7 Mini's. This will not fit either Mini vans or pickups built before 1976 and retaining the 'Magic-wand' gear change.
